With parents and older siblings who sing and play, Magdalen Fossum has been influenced musically since birth. In her home there is a regular immersion in family “jams”, songwriting sessions, and influences in: folk and old traditional. Playing ukulele and singing old traditional, old jazz, contemporary and original songs, Magdalen delights and entertains with humility and good cheer. “Magdalen is carrying on the tradition of folk music in Michigan, and she’s a charmer!” -The Ark-Ann Arbor’s non-profit home for acoustic music.
